Metronome Beats Pro - exporting setlists and presets

This guide explains how to share setlists and presets created in Metronome Beats Pro between devices. You can do this by choosing “Export” in the main app menu.

The applications which you can use to send the items are slightly different for versions of Android earlier than 4.0, so you will need to know which Android version you have running on the devices you are sharing between.

Android 4.0 and above

Once you have selected your presets/setlists and clicked “Export” you will need to choose an application for sending them. The following applications are supported:

Metronome Beats Exporting Applications 4.0

Email/Gmail

Choose the Email/Gmail icon, enter an address and press send. This will send an email with an attachment. Open this email on the device you want to import to and click on the attachment.

The attachment should automatically open in Metronome Beats Pro and start the import. If a list of applications to use for import appears, make sure you choose Metronome Beats Pro.

You may need to re-open Metronome Beats Pro after the import is complete.

Bluetooth

Choose the Bluetooth icon to open the Bluetooth device chooser.

Make sure that the device you are sending to is switched on and is discoverable. It should appear in the list of devices available - click on its name to send the file.

If the transfer is successful, the file will appear in the notifications panel on your device. Once you click on the file it should automatically open in Metronome Beats Pro and start the import. If a list of applications to use for import appears, make sure you choose Metronome Beats Pro.

You may need to re-open Metronome Beats Pro after the import is complete.

Google Drive

Choose the Google Drive icon and upload the file which is created.

Open your Google Drive account on the device which you want to import to, and click on the file. This should automatically open in Metronome Beats Pro and start the import. If a list of applications to use for import appears, make sure you choose Metronome Beats Pro.

You may need to re-open Metronome Beats Pro after the import is complete.

Dropbox

Choose the Dropbox icon and upload the file which is created.

Open your Dropbox account on the device which you want to import to, and click on the file. This should automatically open in Metronome Beats Pro and start the import. If a list of applications to use for import appears, make sure you choose Metronome Beats Pro.

You may need to re-open Metronome Beats Pro after the import is complete.

Earlier than Android 4.0

Once you click “Export” you will need to choose an application for sending your setlists and presets. The following applications are supported:

Email/Gmail

Choose the Email/Gmail icon, enter an address and press send. This will send an email with an attachment. Open this email on the device you want to import to and save/download the attachment onto your SD Card.

You will then need to navigate to the file on your device using a file browser such as ES File Explorer.

Once you click on the file it should automatically open in Metronome Beats Pro and start the import. If a list of applications to use for import appears, make sure you choose Metronome Beats Pro.

You may need to re-open Metronome Beats Pro after the import is complete.

Google Drive

Choose the Google Drive icon and upload the file which is created.

Open Google Drive on the device which you want to import to, and click on the file. This should automatically open in Metronome Beats Pro and start the import. If a list of applications to use for import appears, make sure you choose Metronome Beats Pro.
